Museum Towers: Regatta Riverview Residences

Museum Towers: Regatta Riverview Residences
Museum Towers: Regatta Riverview

Museum Towers, a.k.a., the Regatta Riverview Residences sits directly across the bridge from the sprawling 40 acre Northpoint development in East Cambridge, Massachusetts, 02041. The Regatta Riverview Residences had a bit of publicity in 2005 when the Winkevoss twins (the Winklevi as some term them) rented an apartment there and were sued by the Regatta Riverview Residences. You may recall the Winklevi and their lawsuit against Mark Zuckerberg, founder and CEO of Facebook.

Circa 1998-99, I recall seeing the large banner on one of the Towers that read “1 bedrooms starting at $179k” or something similiar. It seemed like a lot of money at the time, but you can find the MLS sales data from 2005 to the present further down in this post.
